Dr. G. Maria Hill Ed.D., BCBA-D, LBA | Owner, Operator & Clinical Director
A proud native of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Severe Disabilities from Norfolk State University. Dr. Hill holds a Post Graduate Professional Teaching License in the areas of Emotional Disabilities and Learning Disabilities (K-12), a Superintendent License from the Virginia Board of Education, along with a Behavior Analyst License from the Department of Health Professions Board of Medicine. Dr. Hill's doctoral work was completed at Nova Southeastern University with her Applied Behavior Analysis Certification being completed at The Pennsylvania State University.
As a young adult, Dr. Hill developed a strong desire to work with children with special needs. She has approximately 36 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with various disorders such as:
Autism Spectrum Disorders-Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3
Intellectual Disabilities (formerly Mental Retardation)
Developmental Disabilities
Emotional Disorders
Learning Disabilities
Conduct Disorder
Dr. Hill has also worked with various disorders in her well established career including:

Elimination Disorders (Encopresis, Enuresis, etc.)

Alzheimer's Disease
Various conditions which have required instructional, behavioral, and/or medical interventions
Dr. Hill has significant experience working in the private, public and medical sectors while working as a Crisis Counselor, Residential Counselor, Mental Health Technician, Substance Abuse Counselor, Teacher, Education Specialist, Coordinator, Principal, Behavior Analyst & CEO. Additionally, Dr. Hill has worked with a wide spectrum of learners, including preschool aged children to adults. Dr. Hill has also worked with older adults within the geriatrics medical/psychiatric setting.
Dr. Hill and her late husband have three beautiful children along with one precious grandchild. Dr. Hill's philosophy of education is that all individuals can learn and that by working together the potential of every learner can certainly be unlocked!:)
